These phrases are simple and define the essence of Starbird Construction except that in many of our projects it would be more accurate to say “Focus on doing extraordinary things well”. Starbird Construction was founded in 1977 by Peter Starbird Boynton who remains as the Owner and President of the Company. Peter was born and raised in Hawaii, attended Punahou School, then Graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder with a BS degree in Business. Putting his degree to good use Peter entered the construction field at the base level eventually working through all phases of construction for numerous years even after starting his own Company. Starbird Construction has earned the distinction of being one of the most respected and well established companies on the Kona Coast of Hawaii. During more than 34 years that Starbird Construction has been building, Peter has assembled an outstanding crew of office staff, project managers, carpenters, and subcontractors who consistently deliver the high quality work that Starbird Construction has come to be known for.
